Our client located in New York, NY is looking for an Adult Nurse Practitioner
Type: Perm
Schedule: Full Time Weekdays Monday – Friday either 8am-4pm or 9am to 5pm or Monday and Wednesday 10am -6pm – Additionally 1 Saturday per month 8am-4pm
Location: New York, NY
Summary:
* Provides comprehensive case managed primary care services in an ambulatory care setting.
* Contributes to quality assurance, staff development, and other programmatic and clinical function
Job description:
* Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
* Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention and provide medical case management.
* Maintain accurate, detailed reports/records and participate and oversee performance and quality improvement activities.
* On-call responsibilities, shared on holidays by the team – on call demand is light
* Familiar with Adult Medicine at a busy practice of mainly underserved population and immigrants
* Ability to work alone and not needing a collaborating physician when seeing patients
* A single center, with lots of opportunity to build/create programming and clinical research
* Familiar and a desire to work in a community health setting
* Bilingual – Spanish - Preferred
Qualifications:
* Current New York State Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse License
* NCAA Certified
* DEA Certification
* CPR Certification
* Infection Control Certification
* Medicaid Provider ID Number
