Adult Education ESL Instructor - Erie - Northwest Tri-county Intermediate Unit 5

Position Summary
The Northwest Tri-County IU5 Adult Education Program is seeking a part-time Adult Education English As a Second Language instructor in Erie, PA. This is a contracted position working approximately 18 hours per week at a rate of $23/hour. The schedule for this position would be Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 am - 3:30 PM to include instructional time of 9:00-11:30 and 12:00-2:30. Additionally, there would be 3 hours of prep time that can be done remotely on either Tuesday or Thursday.

Required Qualification:

• Valid PA Teaching Certification

Desired Qualifications:

• Teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of Adult Education and College and Career Readiness Standards
• Experience working with ESL (English as a Second Language) students
