Job Title: Program Associate
Department: Adult Day Program
Supervisor: Program Director of Adult Day
Job Objective: To assist adult day program clients with personal care, recreation, and well-being
Full-time: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (37.5 hours per week)
Job Standards:

11. Ability to handle multiple demands and tasks
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist clients with ADLs including but not limited to bathing, toileting, incontinent care, ambulation, and feeding
2. Assist in serving food to the client's restaurant style
3. Lead therapeutic recreational activities, individually or in groups as directed by the Recreation Coordinator
4. Alert Program Nurse and/or Program Director to any observable changes during transport or throughout the day
5. Perform all other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education: H.S. Diploma or GED; CNA and possession of a CT state license
Experience: One year CNA experience in a nursing home, Adult Day program or acute environment. Experience in group activities, or special talent in music or crafts is helpful.
Licensure: State registered CNA; valid unrestricted driver's license in your state of residence, preferred (must have possessed a driver's license for at least 5 years).
