Admissions Nurse (RN/LPN) - Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

• Monday through Friday 11am-7pm shift -- with manager on duty rotation and on-call rotation

Responsibilities for Admissions Nurse: 

• Obtain the resident/guardian signature on all required permits, releases, and authorizations, etc. 
• Assist with welcoming patient to facility as they are admitted to the facility
• Maintain a current listing of all residents & assigned room numbers.  
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather necessary documentation and manage admissions paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Admissions Nurse:

• RN or LPN license in state of Massachusetts
• Minimum 2+ years in a related Admissions Nurse position within long-term care or related healthcare setting.
• Previous health care customer service experience
• Must have a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours as admissions and marketing responsibilities may dictate
