We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director is responsible for the clinical and financial screening for several SNF sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining a high level of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Primary contact responsible for clinical and financial screening of incoming referrals
- Coordinate with in-house admissions teams to ensure effective communication and coordination among staff.
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
- Engage and follow policies and procedures regarding referral tracking, including data collection and metric analysis.
- Supervise the development of clinical documentation and ensure that all medical records are accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with the medical office management team to ensure seamless transitions from admissions to clinical care.
- Utilize Epic, Careport, and other applicable hospital referral and EMR systems to manage patient data and admissions processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referring physicians.
- Work closely with hospital staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and healthcare organizations.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in medical admissions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in medical office management, patient admissions, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including JCAHO standards.
- Experience with medical office management systems, such as Epic, Careport, Navi, etc.
- Ability to manage a team and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience insurance regulations, benefits coordination, authorizations.
- A background in healthcare or healthcare related field
