YOU have an exciting opportunity to join our team and work at our exceptional Skilled Nursing Facility! We are expanding our staff of caregivers and looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Admissions Director to work with our wonderful staff! The Admissions Director is in charge of the admissions process and staff of our skilled nursing facility. Other responsibilities typically include working directly with residents and the families of elderly hospital patients who may need to move into the facility. The Admissions Director is responsible for keeping all information, such as agreements and contracts, up to date. The Admissions Director is responsible for providing information on the facilities and various programs as well as following procedures and protocol. Additionally, you may be in charge of training and managing nursing home staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in long term care or hospital setting is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in admissions or in a nursing home preferred
