Position Overview:

As the Admissions Coordinator with Concierge Duties, you will be the face of our admissions team, guiding residents and families through every step of the admission journey. You’ll handle essential admissions tasks while providing a personal, welcoming touch that ensures residents feel at home from day one. Your role will include facilitating room preparations, handling admission paperwork, and serving as a supportive resource for residents adjusting to their new environment. This position combines administrative precision with a concierge’s warmth, making it ideal for someone who values both structure and empathy in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Coordination: Manage admissions processes, including completing required paperwork, verifying insurance, and communicating with residents and families on payment options and expectations.

Concierge Services: Welcome each new resident personally, ensuring a smooth transition by escorting them to their room, reviewing the Resident Handbook, and providing initial support for their comfort.

Resident and Family Support: Offer compassionate guidance to residents and families, answer questions, and coordinate services to address needs effectively.

Room Readiness: Collaborate with nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are thoroughly prepared, comfortable, and equipped with essentials.

Community Relations: Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, creating a supportive environment.

Tours and Facility Engagement: Provide engaging facility tours to prospective residents and families, sharing the benefits and unique features of our community.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in admissions, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Knowledge of insurance and long-term care policies is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and responsibly.

A warm, patient, and empathetic approach, with a desire to enhance the resident experience.
