Westminster Suncoast, a beautiful active living retirement community located in St. Petersburg is currently seeking an Admission Coordinator to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for marketing the Health Center and maintaining Health Center occupancy.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
+ Coordinate all admissions (Medicare and other direct admissions) with transfers from hospital or home to the facility.
+ Assist in the evaluation of all potential residents to ensure appropriate placement.
+ Ensure proper federal, state, and facility mandated documentation is completed. Ensure all necessary Medicare and/or insurance information is available and confirmed prior to admission.
+ Educate residents and families about the extent of Medicare and Medicaid coverage, including length of stay, amount of coverage and co-insurance
+ Ensure that the budgeted census does not decrease below the established minimum.
+ Identify services, treatments, and funding options in the Health Center
+ Coordinate with Social Services on resident level of care transitions, pay status, bed holds, and discharges.

Qualifications
Education
Preferred
+ Bachelor's Degree or better
Experience
Required
+ 1 year: Long term care, including working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care protocols.
