About the Job
This full-time, exempt position is responsible for recruitment efforts and admissions for non-traditional undergraduate students. This position is located at the Kenosha, WI Center and reports to the Assistant Director of Accelerated Enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Interview and counsel prospective students
- Recruit, follow-up, and facilitate admission of students
- Outreach; attending college fairs, technical colleges, and visit area businesses in key market areas
- Develop an annual recruitment/outreach plan and work toward institutional goals
- Maintain relations with program directors, faculty, students and staff at the Kenosha Center
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral, internally with staff and with students
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge and skill in the areas of sales, marketing, and customer service
- Knowledge and skill in use of computer and software common to the academic setting
- Regular evening hours and some weekends are required
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree and three to five years of professional work experience in academic admissions is required.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position. Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience.
