GENERAL FUNCTION
Assists licensing team leader to manage and drive growth for FGX global license brand portfolio, collaborating with over 20 licensors across various market sectors, including fashion, sport, lifestyle and kid’s brands. Support licensing team leader in all aspects of business development to acquire potential new licenses and Foster Grant collaborators.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains contract key term database and historical net sales data and forecasts across all licenses
- Partners with licensing team leader to monitor and ensure overall license contract compliance across organization
- Collaborates with relevant cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets, forecast updates, and brand marketing plans for licensors
- Assists the licensing team leader in negotiating renewal agreements, new licenses and new Foster Grant collaborations, securing favorable commercial terms and maximizing business opportunities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years in product licensing or brand management
- Experience in product licensing, brand management, business development, brand strategy, contract compliance, project management, forecasting and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive
- Minimal travel as necessary to licensor summits and trade shows (10%)
- Proven ability to create and sustain strong business relationships and comfortably interact with internal and external cross-functional divisions and external license partners
- Persuasive verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Acute business acumen including demonstrable financial skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit to drive ongoing business development opportunities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and work effectively across all relevant cross-functional divisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Experience in eyewear product licensing, brand management, and/or marketing strategy
- Prior licensing experience in accessory manufacturing, product development, and marketing, preferably eyewear
- Knowledge of TM1
Pay Range: 72,870.80 - 102,499.20
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
