- Ideal candidate will be out of a CPA firm or business management firm doing a similar role.

Position: Tax Coordinator
Salary: 70-90K + bonus
Hybrid/Onsite/In-Person:
- After the first three months of full time in the office, the exempt employees are allowed three days in office and 2 days at work from home at this time, with the understanding that if the entire local workforce is requested to come back 5 days a week that would pertain to this position as well.
Tax Coordinator
Large and prestigious business management firm seeks a Tax Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a confident and professional communicator, with exceptional time management and organizational skills. You are interpersonal and believe in developing and maintaining a professional relationship with colleagues; all while performing the following duties:
What will you do?
- Assemble and file tax returns, forms, and related tax payments.
- Process tax organizers and roll over annual CCH Axcess tax returns.
- Distribute department client mail.
- Work overtime hours as needed.
- Monitor department due dates.
- Maintain department WIPs.
- Executive Assistant to Tax Partner/Senior Tax Management
- Process client onboarding and exits.
- Coordinate tax season meals.
- Track miscellaneous deadlines.
- Coordinate client signature requests with other departments.
- Process POAs.
- Request IRS and State transcripts.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What Do you Need to Succeed:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Self-motivated with excellent organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 plus years in office administrative experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Occasional, standing, walking, crouching, and lifting to 15 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms.
- Regular talking, hearing, seeing, and sitting.
- Moderate to the loud noise level.
- Risk of electrical shock.
