The YMCA of the North Shore is looking for you to join our dedicated and talented staff. Our dynamic team supports multiple functions for our association including accounts receivable, hiring, software support, and childcare contract support.
In this Administrative Support Specialist role, you will help ensure reports, records, and data are maintained for the YMCA. You will support the general operating functions such as system software support & builds, accounts receivable, and donor data support.
To thrive in this position, you must be a self-starter who works well independently or within a team. You are efficient in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and have a keen eye for detail. You are accustomed to working within deadlines, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and are comfortable both on the phone and working with multiple software platforms. You have problem-solving skills, a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

In this Administrative Support Specialist role, you will help ensure reports, records, and data are maintained for the YMCA. You will support the general operating functions such as system software support & builds, accounts receivable, and donor data support.
- You will have the opportunity to learn administrative tasks that will improve upon your knowledge and understanding of business functions while supporting the overall administration of records and accounts for the Y.
- You will reach out and support the members and program participants to resolve account issues.
- Process and post customer and donor payments using multiple platforms including Daxko, Raiser's Edge, Excel, and Google.
- Build and maintain systems software programs in Daxko utilized for our childcare, membership, and program enrollments.

Qualifications
- 1-2 years related administrative experience
- Strong computer systems skills (including Excel) and ability to adapt to varying systems
- Available approximately 28 hours per week Monday - Friday (flexible schedule)
