About the Job
Summary This role involves scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation. Additionally, the Administrative Support Coordinator will handle travel arrangements for staff members and serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication and timely resolution of inquiries. They will also coordinate direct to consumer and sample actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages President's calendar and independently schedules appointments.
- Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings, and accompanies President when requested. Move up
- Assists in preparation of shipping paperwork for direct-to-consumer orders and samples. Move up
- Direct to Consumer Customer Support NEW
- Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
- Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies and monitors compliance.
- Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.
- Acts as custodian of corporate documents and records.
- Coordinates committees for internal activities (can this be worded better?)
- Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.
- Orders various non-meat items.
- Covers for the customer service department and receptionist when needed.
- Performs other duties, as needed.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four -year college preferred but Associates Degree from a two-year institution is required. At least two years of administrative experience is requested including word processing, document control and preparation of spreadsheets.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.

Must have excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Excellent typing and word processing skills. Must have the ability to multi-task.
