**Administrative Specialist (Temporary)** **Edmonds, WA** **$20/hr** **First couple weeks in Oct** **Job Summary:** We are seeking an **Administrative Specialist** to provide essential support for a special event - our Annual Gala. As an **Administrative Specialist,** you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our performing-arts facility, which offers concerts, theater performances, comedy shows, and education programs. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for extension. Join our team and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patrons! **Job Specifications:** **- Job Type: Temporary** **- Location: Edmonds, WA** **- Pay Rate: $20 per hour** **- Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm** **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Provide general administrative support, including filing, answering phones, and inventory management. - Demonstrate a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. - Utilize MS Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) proficiently. - Be proactive and adaptable, taking on ad hoc duties as needed. - Assist in event preparation, including lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs individually. - Collaborate with the team to ensure the success of our Annual Gala. - Maintain a reliable and dependable work ethic throughout the duration of the position. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is required. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities. - Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. **Opportunities:** - Gain valuable experience in event planning and coordination. - Collaborate with a passionate team in a dynamic and creative environment. - Contribute to the success of a renowned performing-arts facility. - Opportunity for extension based on performance and availability. \#CB #P1 #P2 As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
