Job Description: | The Administrative Specialist I oversees the daily operations of the Health Disparities, Health Promotion, and Health Equity Research Program. The position manages administrative, fiscal, and human resources activities; ensures compliance with university policies; and provides essential support for research and grant-related activities. Responsibilities include payroll, budget reconciliation, asset management, IT audits, and general program administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability to dynamic program needs, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Administrative Support
Human Resources Support
Fiscal Support
Asset and Technology Management
Collaborate with UF IT to schedule and perform IT audits, implementing security and policy updates as needed. |
Expected Salary: | $20.00 per hour, This is a TEAMS position and is eligible for a suite of excellent benefits, retirement options, and paid leave. |
Minimum Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and appropriate experience |
