Arcosa Specialty Materials is searching for an Administrative Sales Support position for our Seattle, WA plant. In this role, you will support the sales and office operation within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.
Arcosa Specialty Materials is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.
What You'll Do:
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Greet and direct customers, vendors and carriers as first point of contact
• Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone system
• Manage general inboxes
• Confirm customer orders and issue invoices accordingly
• Create RMA’s
• Research material discrepancies related to customer orders
• Coordinate with internal leadership to schedule completion of upcoming orders and deliveries
• Maintain filing and organization within the office
• Track and enter purchase orders in ERP system and monitor through the completion of the transactional process.
• Work closely with corporate accounts payable (AP) to navigate through transactional process revisions
• Fill in for Office Manager as needed (cross-training required)
• Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
• Previous sales/customer service experience, required
• Experience working in Microsoft Office and an ERP system, required
• Knowledge of NetSuite, preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across and with external functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional presence with prompt, regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required, and lift weights up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
Compensation:
• $60,000 - $75,000 / year (overtime eligible)
