POSITION GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Administrative Receptionist will be responsible for setting a positive, first impression of Marous Brothers Construction to callers and guests with a friendly, professional appearance and manner. The Receptionist is the communication link for the company by fielding client calls and taking efficient messages. This position also supports the staff with day to day administrative support as well as supporting other projects on an as needed basis.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, screen, and route all incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner.
• Record complete and accurate messages when necessary and deliver messages promptly.
• Greet guests in a welcoming manner and announce guests to appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Receive and sign for deliveries/courier shipments and notify staff of arrivals.
• Meeting preparation and clean up.
• Maintain the lobby in a neat and orderly manner.
• Prepare signs for anniversaries and new hires. Prepare other items for new hires.
• Assist with projects in the Human Resources department as well as other departments upon request. Duties including, but not limited to: data entry, scanning, preparing correspondence, and tracking information.
• Assist with additional projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows environment. General knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.

Experience Required: A minimum of two years' experience in an administrative/office role. Solid work history.

Skills/Abilities: Detail oriented; patient; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to work independently and adapt to change; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to handle frequent interruptions; ability to bend, stoop, push, pull and lift at least 20 lbs.
