Overview
The Administrative Project Manager plays a critical role in coordinating and executing various projects within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of administrative processes, implementing new initiatives, and managing resources effectively to support the system's overall mission and goals. The Manager provides valuable support to the hospital administration team by assisting with various administrative tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage administrative projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and established standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress through regular status meetings and reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
2. Service Optimization:
- Identify areas of improvement by conducting service line analysis.
- Implement strategies to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct regular evaluations and performance assessments to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including patients, providers, finance, human resources, and clinical departments, to ensure alignment of administrative goals with organizational objectives.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to key stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration.
- Address concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive working relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field (Masters Degree preferred)
- Experience in project management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Some understanding of hospital operations, administrative processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong sense of urgency required.
- Excellent written skills required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
