Are you an experienced administrative professional seeking a rewarding remote opportunity? We have an exciting Part-Time Administrative Program Assistant role available for 20 hours per week, offering a competitive salary range of $20 to $25 per hour.
In this role, you'll have the chance to provide reliable and proactive support to our dynamic Center for Legal Education Excellence team, playing a crucial part in coordinating processes, supporting initiatives, and managing external relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and preparing materials.
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks for meetings, programs, and events, such as organizing logistics, promoting events, and disseminating materials.
- Execute routine accounting and contracts procedures, including expense reports, payment requests, and contract submissions.
- Maintain contact lists, departmental files, and ensure compliance with filing and records management policies.
- Coordinate sponsorship of external events, managing timelines, agreements, invoices, and payments.
- Assist with planning and executing staff meetings, social events, and the annual staff retreat.
- Support research staff with data entry and data quality checks for our data tools.
- Field inquiries and requests submitted to our research email inbox.
- Proactively suggest and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and structure within the Center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative or program coordinator experience.
- Commitment to joining a dynamic nonprofit organization and dedication to our mission of empowering the next generation of lawyers.
- Demonstrated administrative support experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear explanations and accurately relay messages.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and resolve administrative challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Adept at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Self-reliance and the ability to work well in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing administrative support in a remote environment.
- Public speaking and presentation experience.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Experience in a not-for-profit or law-related setting.
