The Administrative Assistant role in GRS manages all in-house mail processes for the team. This position requires excellent attention to detail, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Retrieval of returned mail. Opening of returned mail and separation by client
- Once all returned mail is separated, scan in separately for each client
- Upload the scan to the respective client Sharepoint site
- Discard all scanned returned mail in shred bins
- Print claim forms and attach necessary documents as required
- Prepare envelopes with address and postage print and mail
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Administrative or mail clerk experience a plus
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer service skills with high level of professionalism
- Strong desire to learn
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Able to manage a variety of tasks concurrently
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for most of the workday
- This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard for most of their workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for extended periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
- The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
- This role requires in-office 5 days a week
