Description:
•The Global Access to Care team is leading on the company’s presence and participation during the highlevel week of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), to be held in NYC, from 23 to 27 September 2024. To ensure successful representation, the Access to Care team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support Client ’ presence during UNGA.
•This role requires experience in managing high-level executives’ schedules, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks with minimal oversight. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating a cross-functional team to ensure the successful participation of SHS and serving as the primary point of contact for logistics during UNGA. Additionally, this role will involve calendar management, and coordination with internal (incl. Board Office) and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support and coordinate a cross-functional team to plan and execute Client '' presence at UNGA.
•Ensure that all deadlines are met for a successful UNGA engagement, including but not limited to bilateral meeting requests and briefing books.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics coordination before and during UNGA.
•Manage calendars and logistics for all senior leadership during UNGA. Must be able to direct executives calendars in a changing and fast-moving environment.
•Manage executive calendars, secure meetings, and liaise with various internal and external teams leading up to and during UNGA.
•Perform other tasks as assigned to support the successful execution of UNGA activities.
Requirements:
•University degree in a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, executive support, or related roles.
•Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
•Experience working with high-level executives and managing confidential information.
•Ability to work beyond regular business hours, especially in the lead up and during UNGA.
•Presence in New York on September 21-27 is required.
