Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient’s chest.Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Neurosurgery at Dominican is also offered through a partnership with Stanford Health Care.
Responsibilities
Position Summary:
In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health and under the general supervision of the Director of Radiology, the Administrative Coordinator at Dominican Hospital is responsible for coordinating and performing the administrative support functions for the Radiology Department, and assisting with the support functions of the Department. The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative clerical support to the Radiology Director, the clinical leadership team and the clinical staff of the Department in order to facilitate delivery of efficient and effective healthcare services. Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coordination of clinical staff work schedules, and management of office systems functions. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for gathering statistics whether financial, operational or clinical for bi-weekly,monthly and quarterly reports for the leadership team, and serves as a resource for others in his/her ability to perform all duties and responsibilities for those listed below.
This is a temporary, non-benefited, non-union position for 6 months.
Qualifications
Minimum:
• Three (3) or more years in a multi modality scheduling department required
• Clerical experience such as scheduling, filing, reception required
• High School Diploma/GED - High School diploma / GED required
• Associates degree (will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience) required
Preferred:
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary therapy department preferred
• Experience managing people preferred
• BA in general education or health sciences field preferred
Pay Range
$28.92 - $41.93 /hour
