JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Apprentice Training -Administrative Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Communicate with members, supervisors, peers, and employers/contractors.
- Perform various administrative activities as directed by the Director.
- Responsible for supporting training Journeymen training and compliance with requirements.
- Will assist with training Alliance - Learning Management System.
- Will assist with Learning Management System.
- Assist members in registering for online courses and setting up voice authentication for those
courses. This may be done using facetime or Google Duo. - Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Assist in testing and rollout of new versions of LMS and content.
- Work with other departments to train and assist with LMS tasks.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Take photos for New York City DOB ID SST cards.
- Provide support to members for the New York City SST program including but not limited to outside training verification.
- Assist in the processing and mailing of SST certification cards using in-house programs as well as NYC DOB Training Connect.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Must possess excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to Advance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be an independent worker.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Experience with virtual platforms for meetings, conference, training etc.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced professional office.
