About the Job
Indeck Power, the largest single-source provider of steam power and hot water solutions, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position is fully on-site at our Wheeling office.
The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative assistance to the management team and assist on special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General clerical assistance to the President: answer and screen calls, follow-up with employees and third parties on tasks assigned or inquiries.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Perform data entry and update databases and spreadsheets.
- Prepare documents, special reports, memoranda, compose letters and routine correspondence, and research information.
- Preparation of lists and basic schedules in Excel.
- Filing accounting work papers in binders.
- Miscellaneous personal assisting duties
- Provide backup to admin team and reception desk when needed.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Business school, Associate’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
- 3-4 years of related experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to proof-read.
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
