Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Administrative Assistant.
Position type: Full time Contract
Duration: 4 months
Location: Washington, DC (once in a week onsite)
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
Provide support to the Program Management Team by routine and non-routine clerical and administrative functions including but not limited to sending correspondence, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, event management and providing other administrative tasks as needed. You will be a member of the OMWI which is responsible for working collaboratively with stakeholders across Client to embed diversity and inclusion into all business and activities of the enterprise, while managing related regulatory requirements, driving a culture of inclusion and belonging and measuring progress across various strategic initiatives. You will be reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25/hr - $28/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage calendars, schedules, and events. Keeping track of meetings, deadlines, and ERG activities is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with ERG members, leadership, and other stakeholders. This includes drafting emails, meeting minutes, and newsletters.
- Time Management: Efficiently prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and support multiple activities simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello). Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Event Planning: Experience in organizing events, workshops, and meetings, including coordinating logistics, booking venues, and managing registrations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with diverse groups of people, demonstrating empathy, cultural sensitivity, and inclusivity.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handling sensitive information appropriately and maintaining confidentiality.
