Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant at Van Bortel Subaru of Victor will provide essential support to the dealership’s operations by managing various administrative and clerical tasks. This individual will work closely with the dealership’s management and staff to ensure efficient and effective operations. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, based in Victor, New York.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position is entry level, works Monday - Friday, and offers a competitive hourly pay, ranging from $18 to $19 per hour, paid weekly. Van Bortel Subaru of Victor also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including customer files, sales reports, and financial documents.
- Answer departmental calls and take detailed messages as needed.
- Assist management with requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process and track paperwork related to vehicle sales, financing, and insurance.
- Prepare and review dealership correspondence, including emails, letters, and reports for management as needed.
- Maintain departmental office supplies as needed.
- Assist with general office duties, such as faxing, scanning, and filing.
- Support the dealership’s management team with special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in sales and finance in the auto industry.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
