About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100+ year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Francisco's homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure long-term success.
About the team: Compass Urgent Accommodation Voucher program provides temporary emergency hotel rooms for families and pregnant people in crisis. In addition to a hotel room, the program helps families connect with services and a path to stable housing.
Salary: $29-31 hourly
Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday
Location: 1254 Market St., San Francisco. Fully in person (NOT hybrid or remote)

What the Administrative Assistant will do:
The Administrative Assistant directly supports the Program Director to manage the daily operations of the CUAV Program. This includes clerical and administrative support of the day-to-day work of the Program Director of the CUAV Program. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide calendar management and scheduling for the CUAV Program Director, as well as ongoing support with email, phone calls and voicemail, and time-tracking;
- Prepare communications, such as emails and reports;
- Under the direction of the Program Director, ensure that the CUAV Program creates and maintains the required protocols and procedures;
- Schedule and run reports in the homeless services data tracking system;
- Attend program staff meetings and other meetings, supporting with note-and-minute taking as needed;
- Assist with research related to community resources;
- Create and manage a master calendar for all activities relevant to the CUAV Program;
- Maintain strict confidence in all employee-related matters
- Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $29 - $31 per hour.
- Paid time off: 4 weeks of vacation your first year, 5 in your second. Also paid holidays, sick time, family leave.
- Insurance: health, dental and vision insurance are fully covered by Compass for employees and dependent children. We also provide long term disability and life insurance.
- Retirement: after one year of work, Compass contributes an amount equal to 5% of your salary into a retirement account; this vests over years 2-6.
