We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Administrative Assistant with exceptional typing skills to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Typing and compiling financial reports and documents with utmost accuracy.
2. Assisting in the management of client financial information, ensuring all data is organized and easily accessible.
3. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to create, edit, and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
4. Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and maintained.
5. Providing administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
6. Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as necessary.
7. Utilizing your keen eye for detail to identify discrepancies and errors in financial data and reports.
8. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a public accounting firm.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
3. Exceptional typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
4. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in financial data.
5. Experience in compiling and organizing complex financial information into concise, understandable documents.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
