Position SummaryThe qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be organized, thorough, industrious. Must be able to take initiative in order to problem solve.
- Must have advanced computer office software experience including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite programs. Knowledge of PowerSchool, Skyward, and other district software a plus.
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment, perform data entry, maintain records and scheduling.
- Must demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently and with others.
- Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
- Model civil demeanor when working with staff, students, families,and community members.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Knowledge of District accounting and student management software programs.
- Able to compose routine business correspondence and emails without direction.
- Knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping practices, which may include handling cash for various school activities.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and manage time efficiently so that projects are completed within deadlines with little or no oversight.
- Use all office equipment and technology routinely.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to generate abstract data and assemble reports.
- Coordinate staffing assignments.
- Manage transportation for and scheduling athletic games.
- Conduct inventories, complete purchase orders and other record keeping activities.
- Assist in preparing the budget.
- May arrange for substitute teachers.
- May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.
- Ability to write professional communications.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
- Ability to complete mathematical operations and apply concepts of basic mathematics.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to maintain current job skills as directed, especially in technology-related activities.
- Ability to perform essential duties with an awareness of school district requirements and School Board policies.

- The pace of work tasks would be considered as fast.
- Work is usually conducted at one job site, however, on occasion, this employee will be required to attend meetings, conferences, or workshops and events at other sites as assigned.
