Boulder Community Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Directors, Hospital Medicine. This position provides administrative support to the co-directors of Hospital Medicine, as well as a team of medical providers, to ensure efficient operations of the department. This role coordinates the monthly schedule for medical providers, frequently leveraging their superior communication skills when interfacing with providers and problem-solving coverage issues. This position is also responsible for assisting the department co-directors with their scheduling needs, providing meeting support, and serving as the main point of contact for the Hospital Medicine department for outside callers, inpatients, and other BCH staff. The Administrative Assistant to Directors for Hospital Medicine may be called upon to run analytic reports that support departmental operations. The ideal candidate for this role must demonstrate exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
•High school graduate required
•Undergraduate degree preferred
•Business and secretarial courses preferred
•Five or more years experience as a mid-level, professional Administrative Assistant or similar role required.
•Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
•Serve as group coordinator building the monthly schedule for medical providers. Interface with physicians and other providers to ensure the schedule is fair and satisfactory. Support problem-solving around time-sensitive coverage needs.
•Manage the calendars of the two department co-directors
•Provide project management support for the department co-directors, as needed.
•Track physicians’ number of shifts each month, as well as the Continuing Medical Education (CME) budget.
•Support successful meetings, including setup for hybrid meetings and taking meeting minutes.
•Run monthly reports on key departmental metrics using the hospital’s Epic platform.
•Onboard and offboard new and departing providers.
•Monitor provider expirations and renewals, current contracts and addendums, and reapplication documentation.
