Administrative Assistant - Surgery Trauma Services - Center City - Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs the administrative duties for the Division of Trauma in the Department of Surgery. This includes various project management assignments, record keeping for all divisional faculty and management of physician requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain all administrative calendars for the Division Director and associates
• Organize clinical and academic meetings for the Division Director and associates
• Create, organize and maintain call schedule for Trauma Division – all locations
• Plan and organize events for the division
• Organize and maintain administrative files
• Maintain all licenses, certifications and society membership renewals for the Division Director and associates
• Coordinate all travel arrangements for Division director and associates. Prepare and process travel expenses upon their return
• Responsible for processing reimbursements via Concur for the Division director and associates
• Assist in completion of application forms for societies, organizations committees, courses, appointments, licensure, etc.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.

H.S. Diploma or GED required.

Minimum two years of experience in similar or related position
