Administrative Assistant - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnering with one of Long Island's largest hospital systems in their search for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the hospital's administrative functions, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining efficient communication within the medical team.

This is a temporary position, starting ASAP and lasting until February 2025!

• Pay: Up to $25/hour, based on experience (plus benefits & weekly pay!)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to emails and messages efficiently.
• Complete authorizations for procedures, medications, and treatments.
• Assist in generating referrals for medical procedures and treatments, ensuring a smooth process for patients.
• Handle the faxing and scanning of documents as needed for various departments.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• *MUST BE VACCINATED*
