Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a excitinig company in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities within the company. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude to support various departments effectively. This position is fully in office and full-time. It will pay $22-24 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Monitor and order office supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in coordinating office maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Support the onboarding of new employees by preparing workspaces and materials.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support company initiatives.
- Plan and organize meetings, workshops, and company events.
- Arrange travel and accommodations for staff, clients, or executives as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures.
