This position performs a variety of moderately difficult to complex administrative duties and serves as the department administrative coordinator assisting multiple managers. We deliver inspired people to do meaningful work.
- Prepares, creates, proofreads, edits content and format of documents and presentation materials using broad based software utilization skills. Composes, signs and releases correspondence.
- Coordinates events, meetings, travel and/or conference schedules, making arrangements as necessary. Prepares meeting materials. Resolves conflicting demands.
- Screens, directs and responds to incoming calls and inquiries. Interprets departmental policies and procedures.
- Compiles, gathers and maintains data for department specific databases. Generates and distributes reports.
- Reconciles expenditures, ensures payment of accounts and updates budget information.
- Coordinates or provides assistance for department specific projects.
- Prioritizes, distributes and/or takes action on mail.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years directly related work experience.
Demonstrated initiative and independent judgment in non-routine matters.
Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency with MS Office.
Excellent verbal, written (grammar) and time management skills.
Will need to have the ability to delegate tasks and work independently while being self motivated.
Experience resolving conflict is also required.
Specific experience in department and medical terminology may also be required
Advanced administrative course work preferred.
High school or GED is required
