About the Job
PSI, an Intertek company, is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our Building & Constructionteam in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!
What you'll do:
- Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
- Research a wide variety of information requests.
- May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructions.
- Answers multiple phone lines.
- Coordinates with field operations
- General office administration.
- Typing reports and correspondence.
- Report generation.
- Maintain Project Records for the department.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1 year experience in an office environment/administrative position is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames
