Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Classification: Non-Exempt
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides general and administrative support to corporate office executive and departments. The Administrative Assistant is cross-trained to provide appropriate front desk and mailroom coverage in a corporate office setting. The position is located in Salt Lake City, UT and reports to the Corporate Secretary.
Compensation: $23-$25 per hour

Essential Functions:
- Ability to compose, type, and edit correspondence.
- Ability to build, maintain, and review Excel spreadsheet data.
- Ability to create or assist with PowerPoint presentation.
- Assist in planning meetings, including such tasks as scheduling meeting rooms, hotel reservations and accommodations, travel arrangements, meal arrangements, compiling data, distributing materials, and attending meetings (as needed).
- Establish and maintain files.
- Prepare and maintain department records.
- Cross-trained and acts as a back-up to reception and mailroom.
Additional Functions:
- Other general office support as needed including answering phones, data entry, and other clerical duties.
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional internal and external customer service and relationship building skills.
- Must be proficient in basic grammar rules and be able to apply in editing correspondence.
- Be a team player while still working independently and under minimal supervision.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up.
- High attention to detail.
- Computer skills including keyboarding, 10-key, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels.
- Must be confidential, trustworthy, and discreet.
- Must be self-motivated, able to meet deadlines, and work successfully in a support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of executive assistant experience preferred.

- Physical demands and requirements for the shift consist of sitting for long periods of time, typing, walking, standing, hearing, seeing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
