Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description
The primary project for this role is to scan all the paper model folders and store them on the server. This is to ensure that no paper files or file cabinets need to be moved to the new building in 2025. The project involves scanning approximately 1500 model folders, with an estimated 500 hours of work, spread over 12.5 weeks at 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
+ Take the folder out of the drawer
+ Open the folder and remove any staples from the pages
+ Remove any paperclips
+ Remove anything that would get stuck in the copier
+ Walk to the copier and scan the documents to the designated person
+ Place the scanned documents on the engineer’s desk for approval
+ After approval, put the folders in a document box or properly dispose of them
+ Return to the first step and repeat the process
+ Designated person reviews the scanned documents and informs if any pages need to be redone
+ Designated person labels the document with the model number
+ Creates a folder for the model in the customer folder on the server
+ Puts the scanned document in the folder on the server
Essential Skills
+ Previous experience working in an office setting
+ Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
+ Basic understanding of office equipment, such as a scanner
Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment with standard office hours from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
