Essential Job Functions
1. Support the construction department in generating new job profiles.
2. Establish vendor relationships and verify qualifications and insurance.
3. Maintain all vendor profiles.
4. Support contract administration.
5. Support month-end close.
6. Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
7. Data entry, filing, scanning
8. May assist in training
9. Responsible for working safely, both for self-protection and protection of co-workers, by supporting all Company safety efforts.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. The construction industry preferred two to four years of experience in an administrative role.
3. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
5. Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
6. Demonstrates firm conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
7. Strong organizational skills.
8. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
9. Ability to work independently.
10. Must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent time management skills to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
11. Ability to identify a need, remove barriers, and have the know-how to make things happen.
12. Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people. Has good common sense and applied logic.
13. Must possess or be able to obtain an appropriate state driver’s license before employment, along with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
