Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Rockville, MD
SPS Consulting is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to our busy Recruiting Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to assist with the day-to-day operations of the department, including managing calendars, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate candidate interviews and schedule appointments
- Manage multiple calendars and schedule appointments for Recruiters and Hiring Managers
- Screen incoming phone calls and emails and provide necessary information to candidates and hiring managers
- Manage candidate information in the applicant tracking system and ensure data is accurate and up-to-date
- Process and distribute candidate resume to the appropriate team members
- Ensure interview rooms are prepared for each candidate and that necessary materials are available
- Assist with new hire onboarding paperwork and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Follow-up with hiring managers and candidates one week after start date
- Scanning, filing, and receptionist duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a Recruiting or HR environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Salary
20 - 20 /hour
