Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Pay:$18 to $22 per hour
Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Support Specialist to perform clerical tasks that support daily plant operations. The successful candidate will work closely with key personnel to ensure timely and accurate task completion and reporting while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

• Visitor Management:

  • Greet and welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Conduct visitor and new hire tours, becoming familiar with the plant's layout and operations.

• Communication & Phone Management:

  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls for office employees.
  • Handle employee and applicant inquiries, forwarding sensitive or complex issues to the Manager of Human Resources.

• Mail and Document Handling:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and faxes.

• Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Support HR projects such as employee events, programs, and communication initiatives.
  • Maintain the call-off log for all shifts.

• Office Administration:

  • Oversee and reconcile the office supply purchasing process.
  • Assist senior management with travel arrangements when needed.

• Other Duties:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

• This position operates in an office environment within a manufacturing plant. Occasional walking tours of the plant may be required.
