EXEMPT: No VICE PRESIDENT: V.P. for Planning, Effectiveness and Technology
GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION
This position includes a variety of tasks involving the day-to-day operations of the Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation Office. Incumbents should be flexible and capable of working under pressure. Relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following essential duties.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR FUNCTIONS
Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or particular skills, knowledge, and judgment required by this position. These may be acquired through experience, in-service training, or formal post-high school instruction and, usually, most desirable, through a combination of these. Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer operations; ability to perform at high proficiency levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES , include the following:

Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
Essential Skills
Excellent computer skills-Microsoft Word, database management software, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other software as required.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential at all times.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong and pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal professionally with internal and external customers and co-workers on the phone and in person.
The ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
Ability to meet multiple deadlines for submission of reports without reminders from supervisor.
Ability to work successfully without supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Answer telephone and give information to callers or route calls to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
+ Organization of digital filing system.
+ Prepares outgoing mail.
+ Maintains the organization of the IEA Sharepoint site
+ Organizing and collecting data for a variety of campus-wide reports and questionnaires
+ Managing expenditures of the budgets for both accreditation and institutional research and effectiveness.
+ Managing travel authorizations, expenditures, budgets and documentation for the office
+ Maintaining inventory files
+ Answering the office phone, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the office calendar
+ Creating charts and spreadsheets related to data requests and the completion of the data request.
+ Other duties as assigned.
