About the Job
Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 6+ month contract opportunity located in Rye Brook, NY. This role is on a hybrid schedule with Tuesday - Thursday onsite, and Monday and Friday remote.

Duties
- Assisting with various miscellaneous income and non-income related tax filings.
- Helping coordinate responses to tax notices and communications with taxing jurisdictions.
- Liaising with third-party advisers to manage expectations and ensure all tasks are taking place according to assigned schedules.
- Assisting with the implementation of internal self-service communication platforms to streamline correspondence with the Tax department.
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support for the Tax Department.
- Maintaining tax department budget analysis and tracking all vendor invoices with third party advisors.
- Managing tax return filing calendars and coordinating meetings.
- Must have experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must have professional level verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have strong Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- 5-10 years admin/clerical experience preferred.
