Administrative Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12 months with possible contract to hire
Description:
Position Description:
The Best Drive Retail Administrative Assistant is essential to the success of commercial tire store.
This position assists the Store Manager and maintains the site accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
Administers the total business processes to include inventory management, receiving and delivery processing, business computer systems (MaddenCo and SAP interface), and customer interaction.
They will also maintain the cleaning and sanitation of the work environment.
Essential Duties:
Maintain paper flow of work orders, invoices and other items to receive payment from customers
Assure that the front office is organized and maintained to ensure associates and customers obtain information needed for customer accounts
Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Post revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits.
Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
Support inbound calls and orders; provide order entry and logistics assistance for the outside sales associates.
Reconcile monthly inventory
Administer inventory receiving and deliveries
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Preferred:
Microsoft Office - Intermediate
Experience Required:
1 + year experience in Retail Management
Experience Preferred:
1+ years experience in the tire industry
Education Required:
HS Diploma
Education Preferred:
Some college or military education preferred
