Job Description:
St. Matthew School is searching for a full time Administrative Assistant. The duties of the Administrative Assistant will include, but not be limited to those duties listed below: • Manage the affairs of the school main office
• Answer telephone & greet students, staff, & families
• Assists the Principal to ensure the orderly flow of learning during the school day and After School CARES Program
• Assist families, students, teachers, and Principal
• Working in a multicultural, bilingual environment comfortably
• Have computer skills (Should be knowledgeable of Google Workspace, Adobe, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint); Will also work with FACTS Management System - Training will be provided
• Maintain student records/files, staff clearances, and book orders
• Coordinate transportation requests
• Photocopy papers
• Provide customer service to enrolled and prospective families; Assist the Principal with the Registration Process for new students and families including the FACTS Grant & Aid Application and other scholarship opportunities
• Respond to email and voicemail inquiries about Saint Matthew School
• Schedule appointments
Other duties as assigned
Previous school experience and fluency in a second language preferred.
