Administrative Assistant - Daemen University

Purpose of Role

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at Daemen University seeks a part-time (20 hours per week) administrative assistant to support operations within the College. Work hours can be flexible, but we anticipate the greatest need is Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Tasks include:

• Completing and recording purchase requisitions
• Filing and digital organization of records and files
• Recording and organizing faculty contracts
• Support of Faculty, Staff, and Students as requested
• Greet Daemen community members and visitors
• Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
• Run errands on-campus to support offices
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Google Documents and Sheets, have strong attention to detail, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic outward facing environment.
