We are seeking an administrative assistant to help account managers with their small and mid-size group accounts. You will be working with clients throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities
The following list of duties are tasks that you are likely to perform on a regular basis.
- Handle all incoming phone calls, greet visitors
- Prepare Employee Enrollments Kits/Packets
- Maintain employee databases
- Prepare various spreadsheets as needed
- Prepare / process various mailings as needed
- Drive to Bank and PO Box to drop off and pick up all mail/packages on a daily basis
- Be able to lift and transport boxes as needed – apx. 35+ lbs
- Perform general administrative and secretarial duties
- Process various photocopying jobs as needed / required
- Properly maintain files
- Process online enrollments and terminations
- Communicate with insurance carriers as needed
- Assist other support staff
- Other duties as needed
- 3+ years administrative experience
- High School Diploma / Some College required
- Tech Savvy with proficiency using Microsoft Excel required
- Must have excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary is critical
- Friendly and positive demeanor with co-workers, clients, and vendors
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must show initiative and the ability to multi-task, complete tasks accurately with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines
- Must have own transportation, a clean driving record, and liability insurance
- Must be able to travel
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Ideal candidate will live in the San Fernando Valley
- Must be able to lift 35+ lbs. without restrictions
- H/R Background is a plus
- Knowledge of EASE is a plus
- Candidate must not have any physical or familial limitations that would prohibit them from lifting/carrying up to 35lbs or driving long distances.
This is a full-time position, located in Northridge, CA. Our normal business hours are M-F 8 am to 5 pm.
Again, candidates must have their own reliable transportation, auto liability insurance, and a clean driving record.
Salary
Salary depends upon experience
