Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC(Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, is looking for an Inspector to join our Agriculture team in New Orleans.
The team is a leader in assurance, testing, inspection and certification of agricultural commodities at every stage of the journey. With a deep knowledge of market conditions, trade flows, related regulations, and technical aspects, we assist clients with the important task of supplying the world's agricultural needs.
The Administrative Assistant will support the Caleb Brett/ Agricultural Business Line by performing a full range of administrative duties, including Microsoft office, event planning, administrative planning, etc. We're looking for somebody with prior experience in an administrative position.
Here's What You'll Do On The Job:
- • Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- • Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
- • Research a wide variety of information requests.
- • May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures
Here's What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role:
- • High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Microsoft Office is a requirement
- • Prior experience in an administrative position.
- • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- • Must be detail oriented.
- • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
- • Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames.
- Valid and Current Drivers License is preferred, as there may be occasional courier duties assigned...
