Receptionist at Complete Logistical Services

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant at our terminal yard located in New Orleans East. As a small regional transportation company, we value individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, dedicated and providing exceptional administrative support.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to the terminal yard operations, including but not limited to managing paperwork, organizing files, and data entry.

2. Answer and make phone calls, responding to inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal staff in a professional and courteous manner.

3. Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars for team members.

4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.

5. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including sorting, and distributing mail and emails.

6. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow within the terminal yard.

8. Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.

3. Must be Teachable

4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

8. Experience operating a forklift and familiarity with warehouse operations preferred.

9. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
