Administrative Assistant at PeopleShare Inc

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our team. This company is a leading industrial steel fabricator specializing in custom projects for various industries including steel, oil, chemical, and construction. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Job Details:

• Training period hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM Friday (total 32 hours per week).
• Regular hours after training: 40 hours per week.
• Pay rate: $16-18/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and emails professionally, manage incoming calls, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Create and maintain accurate documents, including letters, reports, and presentations. Utilize strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required).
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and organize meetings efficiently.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and databases, perform data entry tasks as needed.
• Provide general office support, such as copying, scanning, and assisting with travel arrangements.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong mathematical skills with a willingness to learn basic accounting principles (a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
