Boutique Law firm in Downtown LA is offering a unique opportunity for a legal Administrative Assistant. This role involves providing administrative support, customer service, and smooth office operations. The position is 30 hours a week, in the office from Monday to Friday, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors courteously and professionally.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the organization to clients and visitors.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meeting rooms.
- Handle transportation requests for visitors and personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and conference rooms.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of prior experience as an Admin Assistant in a law firm or professional services is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
